If I had to have a favorite, it would be this one. I bought his head as a whim in the Fall of 2009. I figured I would just keep him in a box until I had the money for his body. That finally happened the following February. I was so excited for it to arrive, I even made him some clothing while I waited for his arrival. Not anything I made at that time actually fit his style, as luck would have it. For most of his life with me, I shied away from giving him a face up as I feared he wouldn't me Max any more. But I finally did it, and this is his second face up, and is absolutely perfect for him. I think he had a hard time getting used to not being the only one any more.
Bio:
Max is sweet, lovable, and also peppy in his own right. He's usually a most congenial elf, and loves everyone around him, unless, that is, you try to take his candy or his wigs. (Who'd have thought that one!) He, being a Halloweentown Elf, has an insatiable sweet tooth, loving everything from candy corn to lemon meringue pie. He is constantly snacking, but burns through his food quickly with his fast metabolism and high energy. Being a very helpful elf, he has a hard time saying no to somebody who asks him for help. But this help is always given with a smile. (Even if he regrets it in the end!)

Rufus was an unexpected gift from a family member. I nearly killed over when I saw someone had actually made a head like this. Can you say dream doll? I watched as the price raised from $60 to $80, fretting over not being able to get it before it raised any more. But I was surprised one day to be told he was on his way! He doesn't have a body yet as I can't decide which one I want to get for him. He'll have to be patient just a little longer.
Bio:
Rufus is a scatterbrained goofball that has a penchant for collecting, gathering, shopping, whatever you want to call it. He loves to check out Flea Markets, Estate sales, anywhere he might be able to find some rare and interesting piece. He is Max's best friend, and while Max may not want to admit it, he often pitches in to help Rufus shop. Rufus plays the organ quite well, and is the Halloweentown church organist. He has been known to have hands, and even his jaw fall off at random. Rufus has a jovial voice and is often heard before he is seen.
